How to Hear Your Own Wisdom
I so love when the words that I speak and write from my heart, with a long fought for trusting, affirm themselves in what I hear and see in the following days.
In my first post, I mentioned how we have to find a balance between man’s progress and Nature’s wisdom. My Mom emailed me a link today for a new series that’s airing on TVO. Striking Balance looks to be right up my ally. If you go here you can watch the recent shows online. Thanks Mom, and Zach Melnick for replying to my email so quickly and sending me the online link. 🙂
Also, today while listening to a beautiful discussion* between Claire Dubois, the founder of TreeSisters and Chameli Ardagh of the Awakening Women Institute, Chameli mentioned this quote:
“The time for the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word struggle from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.” ~Hopi elder
It’s beautiful to find your own knowingness echoed in indigenous wisdom.
Connecting with and trusting your own knowingness, which seeps from your very marrow, is not an easy thing. Conflicting messages inundate us from everywhere in our daily lives. Through meditation, you can learn to hear your own truth. And when I say meditation, I refer to the ability to connect with life energy/flow. There are so many options available to help you ease into a daily practice. It’s well worth exploring what works for you.
For me, chanting mantras along with Deva Premal and Miten or using Brainsync audios does the trick. 🙂
